Not at this time. However, coaching does qualify under some insurance plans as a reimbursable ‘fitness benefit’ and we can assist you with submitting the paperwork or finding out about your reimbursement levels.
I LOVE this question. Most other programs brush over it or in very small letters you will see something like, “results not typical” or “results not guaranteed”. There is very little discussion about results expectations so let me explain. Results may vary because effort may vary. Results depend on two things, sound science and consistent effort. I guarantee you the sound science, can you guarantee me the consistent effort? All coaching and programs, this one included, can only guarantee the results to the degree the client can guarantee the effort and follow through.
If you do not feel 100% confident about your ability to consistently put forth the effort to reach your goal long term, don’t worry. Coaching is still well worth your time and money. We got you! Our coaches are here to support you and train you to take action towards your goals even when you don’t feel motivated.
Yes. If you want to bring ThriveFit programing to your place of employment we will help make it happen. Either contact your benefits director in your human resources department and give them our number or email us with a good contact in your office and we will take it from there. Corporate business partners enjoy up to 25% off all packages and are eligible for special custom packages, retreat programing, at work training and much more.
Absolutely! We offer two types of programming for fitness, at home or at the gym. If you have a membership to a gym or facility you can select to have your training designed around the equipment available to you at your facility.
It depends. In most cases you will begin to feel the results of your coaching and training before you see the results. That is why we will develop, together, a set of results and key performance indicators (KPI) that will let us know how the program is working. Based on those specific results, we will adjust accordingly.
Yes. because online coaching, like in person coaching works the same way. There is training and programing based on sound science, a plan developed by the trainer and client, and the client does the ‘work’ and the trainer ‘coaches’. The difference is the service delivery medium. Online coaching uses video conferencing, videos, emails and text messaging to communicate and most clients do feel there is a huge advantage to this medium over in-person coaching. Specifically- convenience. One very real barrier to reaching health and fitness goals clients report is time limitations. This online coaching can be the solution.
No. Only a registered dietician can prescribe a diet or meal plan. Your nutritional coaching will consist of the foundations of healthy nutrition, tracking, creating awareness and accountability. We coach permanent lifestyle changes and behavior modifications which will allow you to reach your goals. We do not promote a specific diet or supplements.
If you have a medical condition that requires a prescribed diet, we will refer you to a dietician to get one and then we can work on coaching you to stay on your diet if you wish. In fact, many prescribed diets are restrictive and quite challenging to stay on, but the benefits of doing so can have a tremendous impact on your health. If you already have a diet prescribed by a dietician that you are struggling to stay on, give coaching a try! (ex- crohn’s disease, IBS, diabetes, chronic pancreatitis ect)
No, but we understand why it might feel that way. Our approach to nutritional coaching is deeply rooted in behavioral sciences, so we don’t spend as much time coaching on exactly what to or what not to eat, as we do coaching habit development, motivation, awareness and skills. Most of our clients actually have a good grasp of what to eat. The just really struggle doing it consistently enough to see results.
